IEA 2021-2022 Team Clinic and Tryout

Clinic

We will be hosting a mini clinic and tryouts for students 4th-12th grade, on July 24th and 25th to share information, allow riders to get a feel for the format and be able to evaluate riders in a show setting.

Cost: The clinic and tryouts are $300 for the weekend. 

The tentative schedule for the weekend is below:

Saturday July 24th
3:00pm-4:00pm – Informational meeting for riders and parents
4:00-4:30pm – Horse groom and tacking
4:30-7:00pm – Mounted clinic
7:00-7:30pm – horse untack and clean up
7:30pm – Pizza party

Sunday July 25th
8:00am – arrival in full show clothes dressout
8:15am-9:00am – show clothes evaluation and horse tack up
9:00am-9:30am – Course walk clinic
9:30am-10am – Horse warm up
10:00am – Mock show begins

Annual Team Dues

Dues for the team are slated to be $1,800 for the regular season but are subject to change as we know how many riders we can commit.  Dues will include all show fees, practice fees, coaching fees, travel, and food for the coach for regular season ONLY.  Any riders that qualify individually will be responsible for additional fees for post season.  More details will be discussed in the meeting.

We are closed for Spring Break this week! Boarders We are closed for Spring Break this week! Boarders and lessors have the whole week to hack and enjoy their horses without lessons in the ring. Have a great break!
While some riders were at the GHHJA show over the While some riders were at the GHHJA show over the weekend, others were at IEA Zone Finals with trainer Tracey Forsythe! Brielle placed 4th and 6th in the Varsity Open Eq over fences and flat, respectively. Jordan placed 3rd in the Novice Flat as well as 2nd in the horsemanship test! 

We are so proud of you both! What a great way to end the IEA season!
We had a great time at the GHHJA Mo Daze and Brita We had a great time at the GHHJA Mo Daze and Britannia Farm shows! 

Maura and Bal Harbour made their debut together  as Maura's first non IEA show and even brought home first out out of all 11 rounds of PreBeginner Warmup, as well as another over fences win! 

Arianna and Ba-Bam made their debut together and Arianna stepped into the Short Stirrup for the first time. They boast 2 Reseve Champions out of 13 on Saturday and 9 on Sunday. 

These girls showed so much bravery, kept their heads on straight and had the absolute BEEEEEEST ATTITUDES ALL WEEKEND! We are so thrilled they are beginning their show career with us and know that they're going to be forces to be reckoned with in no time! Thanks everyone for a fantastic weekend!
I never get enough photos at the shows and always I never get enough photos at the shows and always forget to post but what an amazing 2 weeks at Winter Series we had! Fantastic teamwork by everyone, amazing rides by all, and the cutest leadliner in all the land! Congrats everyone on a great 2 weeks of growth in and out of the saddle!
